This is a new technology developed for elevators.Elephone is developed to help lift passengers, where a passenger is stuck up in between floors, or a lady passenger is attacked by an antisocial element, during travel between floors. The operation of elephone is simple as it is activated by pressing a press switch. The microphone in the cabin and a highly efficient amplifier will automatic dial to its own phone installed in two different areas, say security or machine room. During power failure the elephone works on battery backup to communicate for 30 minutes. A unit of elephone[commando] consists of a main unit, two hand units, one front fascia, and one push button module. The system works with input 230 v, 50 hz, and 12 v ni-cad battery.
